LTC links, CareWatchers provides the national long term care resident and family resource link directory to assist you in finding long term care information quickly. We will continue to add quality ltc links to our national long term care resource link directory that will help you make long term care decisions.

Since our focus is on long term care residents' rights, family rights and quality care, most of our ltc resource links will pertain to that subject matter. However, CareWatchers will also provide ltc resource links that will help you choose long term care and that will help you with legal questions and legal problems pertaining to long term care. Family Caregivers Alliance

Pioneer Network is a grassroots social movement to change the culture of aging for the 21st century. This site includes information on the Pioneer mission, vision, values, principles, and practices. It includes a list of speakers and trainers for local groups and ideas and steps for those interested in changing the culture of aging in nursing homes or elsewhere.

Alzheimer Disease Education and Referral

ADEAR is a service of the National Institute of Aging. This site includes a large amount of information about Alzheimer’s, including reports, research, a health information database, and a clinical trials database. Publications, including fact sheets, ltc resource information, a newsletter, reports, and training materials, are free online.

CHSRA conducts research and develops decision support systems to improve long term care and health systems. This site includes information on projects undertaken by CHRSA, including Revision to the Survey Process, OSCAR, Quality Indicators, and the Minimum Data Set.

It also leads the user to more comprehensive data on that particular issue. This site provides access to the statistical information gathered in the National Nursing Home Survey of 1995 and 1997.

National Care Planning Council

The national care planning Council is a leader in providing books on timely subjects for long term care planning. The need for long term care arises when an individual requires from someone else, assistance with medical care, daily activities, comfort, supervision or advice. Most long term care is provided by family members. We provide ltc links to online news sources and to online magazines that deal with long term care issues.
