State Ombudsman Directory State Ombudsman Protects Resident's Rights
The state ombudsman protects resident's rights, family rights, resident council rights and family council rights in long term care facilities. The state ombudsman identifies, investigates and resolves complaints made by or on behalf of residents.
The state ombudsman provides residents information about long-term care services. They also represent the interests of residents before governmental agencies and seek administrative, legal and other remedies to protect the rights of residents.
